This lovely Dartmouth town house had a long neglected garden. The new owners requested to create a practical garden, that maximised stunning river views, had flat areas and allowed child focused play. The site presented many challenges, less than 6m across and over 120 meters of ascending height from the bottom of the plot to the top.
In addition, there was no access to the back garden and everything had to be carried through the front door, so loads away and materials were managed with extreme care to preserve the budget.
Stunning hand picked multi stem trees were used to link the terraces and the materials used were limited in number to try and create a natural flow.
